Introduction

Graduates acquire skills in the analysis of tectonic and stratigraphic structure of sedimentary basins and their evolution over time, a subject directly related to the study of Basic and Applied Geological surveys. Specifically, they delve into issues of Depositional Environments, Applied Stratigraphy, Sequence Stratigraphy, Spatial and Statistical Analysis of Tectonic, Stratigraphic and Paleontological data, Basin Tectonics, Fracture Models, Stress and Strain Analysis. Additionally, graduate students gain field experience, as well as in the digital recording and management of relevant data by using appropriate software.
